On Sunday Adele tweeted out to the world "I LOVED the Olympics! Thank you everyone for making it so great! Wish I was there but I'm not, enjoy x". d Earlier this week there had been rumours going around on both Twitter and Facebook about Adele. Apparently Adele would be at the closing ceremony and perform some of her songs. Even earlier this year Adele was apparently set to perform at the opening of the Olympics Games in London 2012, at the time there was said that Adele would perform with no one other than Leona Lewis, but those rumours was killed really fast after Leona herself. Even if Adele wasn't able to sing this year, we can always hope that some day Adele will hit the stage at the Olympics!
